DC50 Compression comparison
These images were taken within a few seconds of each other and have not been processed beyond the initial transfer to the computer and cropping. The images were saved for display as JPEG images at maximum quality, so any differences you see are due to the camera settings alone: the first image is Best quality, while the last image is only Good quality. It is possible to see compression artifacts even in the Best quality image, but the last image is so degraded that I can't see it as usable under any circumstances.
